WWE legend Ric Flair announces Philadelphia 76ers allegiance after LeBron James’ arrival

LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers has sent shockwaves through the NBA community.

After LeBron James announced his decision to leave the Los Angeles Lakers, many expected a reunion with the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Miami Heat.

While James decided to head back to the Eastern Conference, he joined the Philadelphia 76ers. The King will now be on a team with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, and Jaylen Brown.

With James becoming a member of Philly, many celebrities have already started to pledge their allegiance to the Eastern Conference side.

This includes WWE legend Ric Flair, who is excited for this new chapter in the 76ers’ history. Flair shared his excitement on X with a post mentioning the likes of Charles Barkley and Allen Iverson.

“I have just officially become a Philadelphia 76ers fan. The home of one of my closest friends, Sir Charles Barkley, who I met when he played for the 76ers! Also, my running mate, Allen Iverson, and now LeBron James! WOOOOO!” Flair wrote.

The 76ers have had their fair share of superstars don the iconic Philly jersey, but for the first time in years, fans have a reason to believe that they can compete for an NBA Championship.

After all, a starting five of James, Maxey, Edgecombe, Brown, and Embiid seems destined for success.
