2026 New Mexico State women's basketball transfer portal tracker

The transfer portal for women's basketball opened on Monday, April 6, and players across the country have announced their intentions to transfer and find a new school.

The portal will close on Monday, April 20, but that's only the deadline for players to request their names be put into the portal. After a player is in, she can take as long as she wants to decide on her next team.

This year's transfer portal cycle will be the program's first for new Aggies coach Adeniyi Amadou, who has replaced former coach Jody Adams after her four-season tenure. NM State didn't acquire a single Division I transfer last season, only signing Las Cruces native Emma Christiano from Division II New Mexico Highlands. Aggies AD Joe Fields has promised to support women's basketball at a "championship level" moving forward, which should help Amadou and company do well in the portal if the promise is applied.
