Coming to Real-ity on Olise? (Madrid Universal)

For months, Real Madrid has had its eyes on Bayern Munich attacker Michael Olise, but the LaLiga power might finally be giving up on its pursuit — or at least realizing it could be too tall of a task to pull off this summer:

Real Madrid’s search for a long-term solution on the right wing is expected to become one of the biggest talking points of the summer. While the club continue to admire Michael Olise, Jose Mourinho is also assessing several players already within his squad before deciding who should make the position their own.

According to AS, the Bayern Munich winger remains the profile Real Madrid would ideally like to add, believing his creativity and directness could complete a formidable attacking trio alongside Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe.

However, with negotiations likely to prove difficult, the coaching staff is simultaneously evaluating the options already available at Valdebebas. That leaves Mourinho with an important decision to make as preparations for the new season continue.

Arda Güler, Brahim Díaz, Bernardo Silva, Endrick, Franco Mastantuono, and Rodrygo were all listed as internal options to join Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé in Real Madrid’s attack.

As of now, it seems as if Olise will be inclined to pull the trigger on a contract extension with Bayern Munich. If not, Bayern Munich’s resolve might be tested.

Real still keeping eye on Haaland (ESPN)

Real Madrid is always star hunting and has not forgotten about one of its long-term targets — Erling Haaland:

Real Madrid remain admirers of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. Diario AS reports that the 25-year-old is still on their radar for a potential future move, having kept tabs on him since he was at Eliteserien side Molde. Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano says the La Liga club have cooled their interest in Citizens midfielder Rodri, with the 30-year-old reportedly looked at as an option if president Florentino Perez wasn’t re-elected in June.

Kolo Muani angling for Juve move (Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano)

Former Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani could be looking to make a move to Juventus:

🚨⚪️⚫️ Randal Kolo Muani wants Juventus and talks continue between clubs after the opening bid (over €30m) rejected by PSG.

Juventus will bid again to try agree terms with PSG, as reported earlier. The French club considers Kolo for sale to any club.

Kolo Muani and Juve have been linked for quite a while now. At some point this move has to happen, right?

PSG, Spurs, Chelsea eyeing Balogun (ESPN)

Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea are all taking a peek at USMNT striker Folarin Balogun:

Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are vying for the signature of USMNT and Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, as reported by Footmercato. Balogun, 25, has impressed at the World Cup, despite being the center of attention for having his red card vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina rescinded by FIFA after a call from US President Donald Trump. Monaco have already drawn up a list of possible replacements for Balogun and have submitted a €15 million to sign Nantes’ Matthis Abline.

Bayern likes Koundé, but can’t see a way for a move right now (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)

Per Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich likes FC Barcelona defender Jules Koundé, but does not see a pathway forward to get him just yet:

✅ It is TRUE: Jules Koundé has been on Bayern Munich’s list for years. They like the player and have followed his progress, but there is no option at the moment to buy him right now, as they have to sell players. As I’ve mentioned previously, Sacha Boey is still on the list. They have too many players available in this position; Konrad Laimer can play it, as can Josip Stanišić. So, if FC Bayern can sell Boey, perhaps they can make a move for Koundé. But, at the moment, there is no opportunity to do so. Givairo Read is obviously another name the club has looked at for the right-back position. But if they can’t sell anyone here, it’s getting difficult.

If Bayern Munich wants to make this kind of move, it will likely have to sell a few of its current defenders.

Schalke to get Gosens? (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)

Former Germany men’s national team regular Robin Gosens could be headed to Schalke 04:
