Everyone seems to have an opinion on the Pittsburgh Steelers' four-man quarterback room, and the legendary Ben Roethlisberger has thrown his two cents into the mix — even if that means his rocky relationship with Mason Rudolph gets called back into question.

On a new episode of the Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger podcast, Big Ben called on his former team to cut ties with Rudolph in favor of keeping Will Howard and Drew Allar as potential starting options in 2027.

“Personally, I think [parting ways with Rudolph] is the smarter move,” Roethlisberger said. “You want to have two young guys because one of those could be your potential quarterback for the next five to ten years.”

Roethlisberger also pointed out that, in regards to trade interest, other NFL teams would be more interested in Rudolph than any of the other Steelers quarterbacks who may be on the roster bubble.

It's no secret that Roethlisberger and Rudolph have had their differences in the past, but although Big Ben has attempted to bury the hatchet on a few occasions, his comments on the Steelers' four-man quarterback situation could reinvigorate the speculation.
