Browns' first 5 draft picks rank in top 100 Madden 27 rookie rankings

The Cleveland Browns rookies in the new Madden 27 received a ton of respect from the game makers ahead of the release of this year's game.

Five of the future Browns landed in the Top-100 of the ranked rookies in next year's game, which underscores, yet again, the value that Cleveland achieved in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Browns did well at the end of April to acquire the talent that they needed, all while maximizing the value that they possibly could. They had some decisions to make early in the round as they held onto the sixth pick in the draft. They could have stayed put and made a selection, or they could trade back with a couple of different teams and gain a couple more draft assets.

They went with the latter, and they found a trade partner in the Kansas City Chiefs at number nine. Cleveland came to terms to exchange the No. 6 pick for the Nos. 9, 74, and 148.

Executing that trade was step one; maximizing it was step two.

Cleveland then locked in with their draft. With No. 9, they selected Spencer Fano, then they went back-to-back at wide receiver with KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston before selecting Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the second round and tackle Austin Barber in the third round.

Each of those first five picks that the Browns made landed in the top-100 ranked rookies, four of whom were in the top 50.

This again just shows the value that Cleveland acquired in the 2026 NFL Draft. The front office truly did nail this part of the offseason; now it is up to the players to continue to develop, and the coaches to use them in the right ways. The major advantage for these young rookies is that they will be thrust into action nearly immediately next year.

Fano, Concepcion, and Boston will all likely be starters while McNeil-Warren might not start, but will be a key contributor on the Cleveland defense. The hope is that Barber is not going to have to play, but with the way that the last several years have gone, he will get his chance at some point.

That will come in just a few short weeks when camp kicks off and the season gets underway, but for now, enjoy using some of the best rookies in the game when you play your next game on Madden 27.
