Jai'Onte' McMillan's tenure with the Colts

McMillan was a late addition to the Colts' offseason roster. He was signed by the team on June 1st, prior to their second week of OTA practices. McMillan went undrafted this past April.

What to know about Jai'Onte' McMillan

McMillan played 561 defensive snaps over the last two seasons at Minnesota. In 2025, he allowed 17 completions on 25 targets, surrendering 14.4 yards per catch with one pass breakup. Both seasons, he graded out well as a run defender by PFF's metrics.

Looking ahead to 2026 for Jai'Onte' McMillan

What we know about the Colts' cornerback room is that with Sauce Gardner, Charvarius Ward, and Justin Walley accounting for three roster spots, there are two to three up for grabs depending on how many cornerbacks the team keeps.

Cam Taylor-Britt, Mekhi Blackmon, Johnathan Edwards, Jaylon Jones, and Cameron Mitchell are the likely front-runners for those final roster spots. Of these five players, two to three won't make the 53-man roster either.

McMillan's ceiling coming out of training camp is most likely the practice squad.
