England boss rips team's performance after World Cup win vs Norway
England manager Thomas Tuchel said he was "not happy" with his team's performance after a 2-1 win over Norway that booked the Three Lions a place in the World Cup semifinals.
"We made life very very difficult for ourselves today," Tuchel said in a postgame interview. "The result is fantastic, we're in the last four it's amazing but … not happy with the performance."
Asked what specifically Tuchel wasn't satisfied about, the England manager listed his issues
"In every sense ... the way we played, how we played, sloppy, a lot of technical mistakes, not fast enough … we were lucky today," Tuchel said in the interview sure to grab headlines across the globe.

Advancing to the semifinal for the second time in three tournaments, England fell behind 1-0 but equalized on the brink of halftime with Jude Bellingham's goal. The Norwegians thought they scored a go-ahead goal in the second half but it was waved off due to a foul. Finally, Bellingham scored again just three minutes into extra time and England held on.
England will face the Argentina-Switzerland winner in the World Cup semifinals on July 15 in Atlanta.
