Guardians News and Notes: Rough Night in Cleveland

The Guardians and Cavs got absolutely destroyed last night in Cleveland. Hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend.

The big news of yesterday was that Erik Sabrowski is on the injured list with elbow soreness. Sabrowski has pretty much been a cheat code since he made the majors with Cleveland, so this is a big blow to the bullpen. It makes Tim Herrin the matchup lefty (gulp!) for now and replaces Sabrowski on the roster with Codi Heuer. Now, Sabrowski spent a little time on the IL last season with elbow soreness and came back as strong as ever, but he also has had two Tommy John surgeries. So, this seems like either a couple month vacation OR the end of his career. No biggie! Stephen Vogt said MRI results should be shared today.
