He does it again! Malik Tillman scores another free kick goal for US
With Team USA needing a spark, Malik Tillman came through with another free kick.
The 24-year-old midfielder scored his second free kick goal in as many games for the United States at the 2026 World Cup, this time to tie the match at 1-1 against Belgium in the Round of 16.
Standing just outside the box, Tillman's blast deflected off of a Belgian defender along the wall and past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

However, the jubilation was short-lived as Belgium scored on a header from Charles De Ketelaere to go back ahead 2-1. It was the second goal of the half for De Ketelaere.
Per ESPN Global Sports Research, Tillman is only the second player in the last 60 years to notch two free kick goals in a single World Cup.
