Kylian Mbappé sets new World Cup record in France’s 2-0 win over Morocco

France dispatched a what had hitherto been a stout Morocco side 2-0 in the 2026 World Cup quarterfinals. Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Démbélé were the goalscorers in the labored victory, but more bonus for Kylian who just set a new record for most World Cup knockout stage goals ever scored:
