Luka Doncic, often hailed as one of the premier talents in basketball today, has faced his share of critique but continues to shine on the court. After wrapping up a standout season with the Los Angeles Lakers—where he claimed his second scoring title and earned a spot on the All-NBA First Team for the fifth time in six years—Doncic is currently on a promotional tour with Jordan Brand.

During a recent conversation with Drafteados, a young fan posed a thought-provoking question about which NBA legend Doncic would like to face in a one-on-one matchup. Without hesitation, Doncic replied, “Michael Jordan, easy answer. He was an incredible player and I’d love to play against him.” This reflects the enduring legacy of Jordan, who many regard as the greatest player of all time.

Jordan's accolades include the highest scoring average in NBA history, ten scoring titles, five MVP awards, and six championships with the Chicago Bulls, establishing him as the benchmark for basketball excellence.

In his own right, Doncic has built a remarkable career in just eight seasons. This past season, he averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, although a hamstring injury in early April limited his performance in the playoffs. Notably, he ranks third in career regular-season scoring average at 29.2 points per game and second in playoff scoring average at 30.85 points.
