Ohio State offensive line has unresolved questions entering August

USC football faces Ohio State this season. The Buckeyes do not have their offensive line fully settled going into August preseason camp. A to Z Sports, via Yahoo!, has more details:

"Ohio State football has questions to be answered along the offensive line, and one player is continuing to push to fill a starting spot this summer. Injuries held the Ohio State Buckeyes from getting a complete look at their football team this spring. There are still multiple roster spots to be worked out, and it'll take everyone being on the field in the fall to make it happen. Ohio State returns the majority of its offensive line from last season outside of RG Tegra Tshabola. The Buckeyes didn't have either of last year's offensive tackles Austin Siereveld or Phillip Daniels in the spring due to offseason procedures. When everyone's back healthy, there's a chance for some shuffling to happen with one Buckeye pushing to make it happen."

Watching the College Football Playoff quarterfinal against Miami at the Cotton Bowl showed how much work the Buckeyes have to do on their offensive line. OSU's front got swallowed up by the Miami Hurricanes, leaving quarterback Julian Sayin at the mercy of the Canes' front seven. Of course, USC has a defense nowhere near as good as what we saw from Miami in 2025, but if the Trojans can just be decent -- not spectacular -- they might do enough to turn this year's game in USC's favor.
