The Pittsburgh Pirates are facing off against the New York Yankees in the middle matchup of their three-game series at Yankee Stadium.

Chandler is making his first start in 10 days for the Buccos fresh off the All-Star break. Chandler pitched 4.2 innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs while striking out six in his last start against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 11. Chandler was a no-decision, leaving the game in a 2-2 tie, but the Pirates added another run in the sixth inning to get themselves across the finish line with a victory.

For the Yankees, Will Warren is making his 20th start of the season. He has not picked up a win on his record since May 31, so he is long overdue. Warren has not finished the sixth inning in any of his starts in June or July, but the added rest from the All-Star break could give him the stamina to go deeper into the contest. The Yankees are 13-6 in games in which he pitches this year. In his last start on July 12, Warren pitched five innings, giving up four hits and one earned run against the Washington Nationals.
