Savannah Bananas Bring Unique Baseball Experience to Cincinnati

The Savannah Bananas are set to return to Cincinnati for a thrilling three-game series from June 19 to June 21 at Great American Ball Park. This exhibition baseball team, known for their entertaining approach to the sport, has been dubbed "the greatest show in sports" by ESPN. Their visit is part of the ongoing Banana Ball World Tour, which has captured the attention of fans nationwide.

Originating from Savannah, Georgia, the Bananas operate much like the famed Harlem Globetrotters, providing a unique twist on traditional baseball. Their distinctive style is showcased through a variant of the game they call Banana Ball, designed to enhance the pace and excitement of play. With over 4.3 million followers on Instagram, the team has built a strong online presence, sharing playful antics and moments featuring their owner, Jesse Cole.

During their time in Cincinnati, the Bananas will face off against the Indianapolis Clowns, a historic team that played in the Negro Leagues until 1989. The Clowns, along with the Loco Beach Coconuts, are among the new teams joining the Banana Ball Championship League, which is set to expand in 2026.

Games will commence at 7 p.m. on June 19 and 20, with a matinee on June 21 starting at 3 p.m. Fans can catch the action on ESPN, Disney+, and YouTube. Tickets are available through the Bananas' Fans First Tickets app or on resale platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek.
