Survey: How many touchdowns will Sam Darnold throw in 2026?

It’s time for another edition of Seahawks Reacts! Once again, we only have one question for you and it’s all about Sam Darnold.

The Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback had a dream debut season, continuing the quality play he started with the Minnesota Vikings and winning the Super Bowl. Darnold threw for 25 touchdowns in the regular season, with another five in the postseason to give him an even 30 in his inaugural year in Seattle.

Darnold won’t have Klint Kubiak or Kenneth Walker III anymore, but his starting offensive line will be the same, he has a full offseason with Rashid Shaheed, and the expected return of Tory Horton during training camp. New offensive coordinator Brian Fleury wasn’t brought on to reinvent the wheel or completely deviate from Kubiak’s offense, so the learning curve should not be particularly steep.

What do you think? How many touchdowns will Darnold throw this year? Your guess can include the playoffs, because why should we be limited exclusively to regular season statistics? The options are less than 20, between 20-29, exactly 30 once again, 31-39, and 40+. If it’s 40+ I think Darnold is bare minimum an MVP finalist.
