Texas A&M star WR listed on Pre-Spring Biletnikoff Award Watchlist
Texas A&M's 2026 wide receiver rotation will be led by junior Mario Craver, who finished second on the roster with 59 receptions, 917 yards, and four touchdowns, averaging an impressive 15.5 yards per reception, while bringing elite speed and versatility for a team that finished 11-2 while making the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history.
KC Concepcion, who led the Aggies in receiving, is headed to the 2026 NFL Draft after his career season in College Station, and is expected to be selected in the first or second round of the draft after his impressive performance on Saturday during the NFL Scouting Combine. This offseason, coach Mike Elko added 17 signees from the transfer portal, including Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton.
Providing starting quarterback Marcel Reed another weapon next season, Horton's size advantage, standing at 6'4", should perfectly complement Craver's speed and separation in coverage, while returning starters Ashton Bethel-Roman and Terry Bussey are expected to take another step in 2026.
Even with the addition of Isaiah Horton, Mario Craver is expected to be Marcel Reed's No. 1 receiver, and is already receiving plenty of national attention that will continue as the offseason progresses, already being predicted as a top 10 Biletnikoff Award Watchlist, given to the top wide receiver after every regular season.
One of two SEC wide receivers in CFPBudge's list, Craver is listed as No. 4, contending with new Texas WR Cam Coleman, Malachi Toney (Miami), and, of course, Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State).
