Tottenham turn down multiple approaches for Will Lankshear

Tottenham Hotspur have knocked back a flurry of transfer approaches for young striker Will Lankshear, drawing a line in the sand regarding the academy graduate’s immediate future. The ‘really hungry’ forward has now returned to Hotspur Way and has seemingly caught the direct attention of new manager Roberto De Zerbi, who is mobilising his first full pre-season in London.

While De Zerbi is overseeing a massive squad overhaul with six signings already through the door and more expected, he is eager to evaluate Lankshear ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

A decision regarding Lankshear’s future is expected before the squad jets off for their pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia later next week. Securely bound to a long-term project at Tottenham running until June 2029, Spurs hold total leverage, and unless a suitor tables an astronomical offer, Spurs are fully content to keep their highly rated poacher anchored in N17.
