UFC Abu Dhabi: How to watch Ankalaev vs. Guskov, lineup, odds, more

The UFC is back in the Middle East this week, where a former light heavyweight champion tops the card.

Here's how to watch UFC Fight Night 282, where 205-pounders headline in Abu Dhabi.

Broadcast and streaming info

UFC Fight Night 282 has a main card that streams at noon ET on Paramount+. The prelims stream on Paramount+ at 9 a.m. ET.

Stay tuned to MMA Junkie for additional broadcast details later this week.

Main event: Magomed Ankalaev

Magomed Ankalaev (red gloves) reacts after the fight against Alex Pereira (blue gloves) during UFC 320 at T-Mobile Arena.

  • Record: 21-2-1 MMA, 12-2-1 UFC
  • Opponent: Bogdan Guskov (18-3-1 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC)
  • Division: Light heavyweight
  • Key wins:Alex Pereira, Aleksandar Rakic, Johnny Walker, Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, Volkan Oezdemir, Nikita Krylov, Ion Cutelaba (twice)
  • Misc.: Ankalaev won the 205-pound title in March 2025 with a big upset of Alex Pereira. The unanimous decision gave him the title, but set up a rematch – which Pereira won in just 80 seconds. Ankalaev was meant to have his return be against former title challenger Khalil Rountree Jr. until he pulled out, setting up Guskov for the short-notice main event opportunity.

Main event: Bogdan Guskov

  • Record: 18-3-1 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC
  • Opponent: Magomed Ankalaev (21-2-1 MMA, 12-2-1 UFC)
  • Division: Light heavyweight
  • Key wins: Nikita Krylov, Billy Elekana, Ryan Spann
  • Misc.: Guskov had a modest four-fight winning streak – though they were all stoppages – snapped with a majority draw against former champ Jan Blachowicz this past December. He was set for the rematch in May, but Blachowicz pulled out with an injury. And though they were set for a new bought next month, when Ankalaev needed a new opponent in place of Rountree, Guskov got the call for the switch – and arguably his biggest UFC shot to date.

Co-main event: Steve Erceg

  • Record: 14-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC
  • Opponent: Ramazan Temirov (19-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC)
  • Division: Flyweight
  • Key wins: Tim Elliott, Ode Osbourne, Matt Schnell, Alessandro Costa
  • Misc.: Erceg had a super-fast UFC ascension with three straight wins, right into a title shot against Alexandre Pantoja less than a year after his promotional debut. That decision loss was the first of three straight setbacks for the Aussie, but he’s rebounded with crucial decision wins over Osbourne and Elliott.

Co-main event: Ramazan Temirov

.

  • Record: 19-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC
  • Opponent: Steve Erceg (14-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC)
  • Division: Flyweight
  • Key wins: CJ Vergara, Charles Johnson
  • Misc.: Temirov is back for the first time in 16 months. He was set to return in Abu Dhabi a year ago against Asu Almabayev, but was forced out. Now he’ll try to extend his 11-fight winning streak against a former title challenger in his first UFC co-main event.

UFC debut: Damian Rzepecki

  • Record: 10-0
  • Opponent: Magomed Zaynukov (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Lightweight
  • Misc.: The 24-year-old from Poland has nine of his 10 wins by stoppage. He’s coming off the lone decision win of his pro career in April.

UFC debut: Magomed Zaynukov

  • Record: 8-0
  • Opponent: Damian Rzepecki (10-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Lightweight
  • Misc.: Given his Dagestani lineage, there will be high hopes on Zaynukov, who used a decision win on DWCS this past October to get his UFC contract.

UFC debut: Abubakar Vagaev

  • Record: 24-4
  • Opponent: Saygid Izagakhmaev (22-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Misc.: The 33-year-old Russian won ACA’s welterweight title against Albert Tumenov in February 2025, but has been out of action since then. His UFC debut was set to come against Magomedrasul Gasanov, but Izagakhmaev stepped up on short notice.

UFC debut: Muhammad Said

  • Record: 9-0
  • Opponent: Dustin Jacoby (22-9-1 MMA, 10-6-1 UFC)
  • Division: Light heavyweight
  • Misc.: The 30-year-old Russian has eight of his nine wins by stoppage, including six knockouts. Recent wins have included UFC vets Leonardo Guimaraes and Luis Henrique da Silva, both by stoppage.

UFC debut: Magomed Tuchalov

  • Record: 6-0
  • Opponent: Brendson Ribeiro (17-10 MMA, 2-5 UFC)
  • Division: Light heavyweight
  • Misc.: Tuchalov won UAE Warriors’ light heavyweight title with a one-punch knockout of UFC vet Caio Machado in March and literally punched his ticket to a home UFC debut.

UFC debut: Abdul Hussein

  • Record: 15-2
  • Opponent: Cody Gibson (21-12 MMA, 3-7 UFC)
  • Division: Bantamweight
  • Misc.: Born in Lebanon, but based in Finland, the 28-year-old Hussein has 14 of his 15 wins by stoppage, including nine submissions. Gibson is a short-notice replacement for him after Muin Gafurov pulled out. He’s coming off a win over UFC vet Tyson Nam this past December to win ICF’s 135-pound title.
