Watch: Yaxel Lendeborg's highlights from Summer League debut with Warriors

It's safe to say Yaxel Lendeborg made a positive first impression in his Summer League debut at the California Classic with the Golden State Warriors. The standout Michigan wing quickly showed everyone why the Warriors selected him at No. 11 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft.

On Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center in San Francisco, Lendeborg led the Warriors with 19 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, including four made 3-pointers. Yet, Lendeborg didn't stop there. The rookie added six assists, five boards, a block and a steal in 22 minutes.

Lendeborg led the Warriors Gold roster to a dominant opening-night win at the annual California Classic, 104-72. All five starters, plus Chance McMillian off the bench, tallied 11 or more points against the Lakers.

Lendeborg will be back on the court against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday when the Warriors Gold suit up for Game 2 of their California Classic run.
