Round of 16 play at the 2026 World Cup continues on Saturday night, and we're set for what should be a special Fourth of July match in the City of Brotherly Love.

In the tournament's final game in Philadelphia, France will take on Paraguay with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line. For the Independence Day matchup, we'll have a special guest on hand to perform the national anthem.

Tony Award-winning actress and singer Idina Menzel will perform "The Star Spangled Banner" before singing the anthems for the French and Paraguayan teams. France dominated Sweden in the Round of 32, while Paraguay pulled off an upset over Germany with a win in penalty kicks.

Who is Idina Menzel?

Menzel is an actress and singer/songwriter who won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2004 for her portrayal of Elpheba in the Broadway production of "Wicked." She also gained fame on the screen for her portrayal of Elsa in Disney's "Frozen" franchise.
