The Lakers, Knicks, Heat, and Rockets are often linked to Giannis. Dallas may still fit him better than those teams for one simple reason. The Mavericks already know how to build around global stars.

Dirk Nowitzki became the face of the franchise for two decades. Luka Doncic later carried the same role. Dallas built its identity around both international stars without forcing them into constant drama.

That matters for Giannis. Los Angeles and New York bring huge pressure every night. One bad game can control sports shows and social media for days.
