Will Nebraska pursue one of the transfer portal's top players?
Iowa State star Audi Crooks is entering the transfer portal. Crooks is one of the most dynamic playmakers in college basketball.
She averages 25.8 points per game on 64.9% shooting. She scored 47 points against Indiana in November, which was a school record. Accolades were flowing in as a result of her strong play. She was named a second-team all-American by the Associated Press and USBWA.
She was strong for her collegiate career as well. She played in 99 total games and averaged 22.8 points per game. The points scored led the nation in that regard.
Crooks would help the Huskers by offering a complementary piece inside for Britt Prince. She would also be a strong addition to the top recruiting class Amy Williams has put together for the 2026-27 season.
This may seem like a bit of a long shot, but Crooks would fit in well in Lincoln. It will be interesting to see where she goes as she is one of the most coveted transfers on the market.
