World Cup Final closing ceremony kicks off Spain vs. Argentina match
As the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes to its final match, the first-ever closing ceremony to mark the end of the tournament takes place at today MetLife Stadium.
The ceremony inside the stadium dubbed New York New Jersey Stadium for the tournament is expected to feature celebrities Tom Cruise, Post Malone, Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini, IShowSpeed and superstar Jennifer Hudson performing the United States national anthem.
Post Malone, will deliver a performance to start off the ceremony, followed by the rest of the biggest names in entertainment and music for other performances.
Joining the big names in the closing ceremony is Christopher Macchio, known as "America's Tenor," will sing a special rendition of 'America the Beautiful' which serves as an ongoing celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
