The 2026 World Cup continues on Monday as United States looks to advance out of the Round of 16.

Here's what you need to know for Day 26 of the World Cup.

Portugal vs. Spain

Monday, July 6 | 3 p.m. ET | Dallas | TV: Fox

Odds to advance: Portugal (+184), Spain (-230)

For the second straight summer, the Iberian Derby will have meaning to it. Last summer, Portugal and Spain met in the UEFA Nations League Finals, which saw Portugal win after penalty kicks. On Monday, they meet with a spot in the World Cup quarterfinals on the line.

It will mark the 42nd time the two nations have played against one another and only for the third time in a World Cup. Spain cruised with a 3-0 win over Austria, while Portugal beat Croatia in a dramatic 2-1 come-from-behind victory.

The winner of this one will see either the United States of Belgium on Friday in the quarterfinals in Los Angeles.

USA vs. Belgium

Monday, July 6 | 8 p.m. ET | Seattle | TV: Fox

Odds: USA -110, Belgium -110

This is a different USMNT side that lost 5-2 to Belgium in a March friendly. Mauricio Pochettino's team has progressed to the Round of 16 and is seeking its first quarterfinals berth since 2002.

The Americans will attempt to do so with an unexpected boost.

On Sunday, FIFA rescinded striker Folarin Balogun’s one-match suspension from his controversial red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina, making the U.S. leading scorer available against Belgium.

Belgium needed a dramatic late comeback to dispatch Senegal in the Round of 32. Belgium’s past three World Cups have produced wildly different results: a group stage exit, a third-place finish and a quarterfinal appearance.
