Father-son duo become first in Adrian College history to each earn MVP honors

A notable achievement has been reached at Adrian College with the recognition of sophomore golfer Cameron Bozyk. According to a community announcement, Cameron was named MIAA Golfer of the Year. The honor continues a family legacy of athletic success, as his father, Keith, was named MIAA Most Valuable Player in Baseball in 1993.
Cameron's accomplishment marks a significant moment, as he and his father become the first father-son duo to earn conference MVP honors at Adrian College, and only the second such pairing in the history of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Both men are from Adrian, adding to the significance of their achievements for the local community.
In his second year, Cameron led MIAA golfers with a 72 average across six conference rounds. His performance included a low round of 69 during the third MIAA Jamboree. He continued to excel in the MIAA Spring Final, achieving back-to-back under-par rounds of 70 and 71. His efforts earned him First Team All-MIAA Honors in 2025, following a Second Team All-MIAA Honors in 2024.
Keith's influence on Adrian College athletics has been profound. As a pitcher in the early 1990s, he earned MIAA MVP Honors in 1993 with a 1.43 ERA, a single-season program record. That year, he made a 7-3 record with two saves, seven complete games, and 67 strikeouts in eight starts. He was also recognized with First Team All-MIAA Honors in 1993 and Second Team Honors in 1994. In 2013, he was inducted into the Adrian College Athletic Hall of Fame.
Keith remains among the top pitchers in the program's history, ranking eighth in career wins, fifth in career saves, second in complete games, fourth in innings pitched, and sixth in strikeouts. The family's legacy exemplifies athletic excellence and community pride at Adrian College.
According to a community announcement, Cameron may have the chance to join his father in the Athletic Hall of Fame once eligible, marking another milestone.
