Alabama Basketball's 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge Opponent Revealed

Alabama basketball will face Miami in the upcoming 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge, according to reports from Jon Rothstein. The matchup is part of the annual event that features teams from both conferences competing against each other. This year, the Crimson Tide will travel to Miami for the contest.

The Hurricanes concluded the 2025-26 season with an impressive record of 26 wins and 9 losses, achieving a 13-5 mark in ACC play during their inaugural season under head coach Jai Lucas. Last year's SEC/ACC Challenge saw Alabama secure a victory at home against Clemson, winning 84-79 on December 3.

As the Crimson Tide prepares for the challenge, the team's overall performance last season included a commendable 25-10 record, culminating in their fourth consecutive appearance in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

While the exact date for the 2026 event has yet to be announced, Alabama also has several non-conference games lined up, including matchups against North Dakota, St. John's, Houston, Gonzaga, Baylor, Seton Hall, and South Florida.
