Ancelotti Confirms Neymar's Return Ahead of Scotland Clash
After a strong performance that saw Brazil defeat Haiti 3-0, head coach Carlo Ancelotti addressed the media and shared significant news regarding Neymar's status. The Brazilian national team coach announced that Neymar is expected to be fit for their crucial group-stage match against Scotland.
"Neymar will train individually tomorrow (Saturday), and then on Monday he will rejoin the team and be ready for the match against Scotland," Ancelotti stated. This announcement comes after Neymar remained in New Jersey to recover from a right calf injury, which prevented him from traveling with the team to Philadelphia.
The forward has been sidelined since May 17 due to complications from swelling in his calf sustained while playing for Santos. Although he was included in the squad despite the injury, it was later confirmed that he would need up to three weeks off from ball training to fully recuperate.
With Neymar's return on the horizon, fans are hopeful that he can make a significant impact in the tournament. The stakes are high as Brazil aims to advance in the competition.
