Ben Stiller Unveils New Knicks Documentary Series in Collaboration with A24 and HBO

Ben Stiller has officially confirmed his anticipated documentary series focusing on the New York Knicks. The actor and director shared the news during an episode of his podcast, Roommate. “I’m really excited to announce that we are making a documentary about the New York Knicks for HBO with A24,” Stiller remarked.

Accompanied by NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and champion Josh Hart, Stiller emphasized that he has secured “full cooperation of the NBA and MSG.” This suggests that access to key moments and figures in the franchise will not be a problem. While the project will spotlight the current team's impressive championship journey, it will also delve into “all eras of the Knicks,” according to Stiller.

The documentary series, which will be presented in multiple parts, aims to document the franchise's history, tracing its evolution from the 1990s to the recent record-breaking championship win. Stiller also took to his X account to express his enthusiasm, stating, “Couldn’t be more excited to make this doc with @a24 and @hbo about the NY KNICKS!!!!!! #LETSGOKNICKS.”

Given the notable viewership statistics from this year’s NBA Finals, which saw an average of 24.5 million viewers tuning in for Game 5, there is significant potential for the documentary to attract a large audience.
