Brewers Fans Weigh In on All-Star Game Selections
In a recent survey conducted by SB Nation Reacts, Milwaukee Brewers supporters expressed their preferences for which player should accompany ace Jacob Misiorowski to the All-Star Game in Philadelphia this July. The results revealed a divided opinion among fans.
Participants were given five candidates to choose from: Brice Turang, Jackson Chourio, Jake Bauers, William Contreras, and Kyle Harrison. Only Contreras has previously been selected as an All-Star. Turang and Chourio emerged as the fan favorites, collectively securing over half of the votes—Turang received 36% while Chourio followed closely with 27%.
This season, Turang, 26, boasts an impressive batting line of .262/.378/.465 with 11 home runs, 44 RBIs, 54 runs, and 12 stolen bases. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Chourio has a remarkable .307/.360/.558 line, including 10 homers, 28 RBIs, and five stolen bases in just 38 games.
Veteran Jake Bauers, 30, has reached new heights in his career this year, while Kyle Harrison seems to be finding his rhythm on the mound. Contreras, as a seasoned catcher, provides essential experience to a young pitching staff, making him a key asset for the Brewers.
