The results from Round 3 of the Carolina Hurricanes Playoff Pick’em Contest are in, and the leaders are well-known participants. “formersaint” is currently in the top position with 47 points, closely followed by “Canes-N-Bacon” and “Madbaximus,” both with 43 points. “RonnieFranchise” holds the fourth spot with 42 points.

Even if you feel your chances of winning are slim, there’s still an opportunity to score points. This round allows for a maximum of 21 points, contingent on your predictions. Participants are asked to specify the team they believe will emerge victorious, the number of games the series will last, and the total goals scored, which serves as a tiebreaker.

The rules, as outlined by Brian, are straightforward: post your predictions in the comments for the final series, indicating who will win, how many games it will take, and the anticipated total goals scored. In the initial round, one point is awarded for each correct winning team, with points doubling in subsequent rounds—two for the second round, four for the conference final, and eight for the Cup final.

Bonus points are available as well; if you correctly predict both the winning team and the series length, you’ll earn five additional points. The total potential score, if every prediction is spot on, is 107 points. However, reaching that total is a tall order, and even securing half of that would put you in a strong position to win.
