Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is reportedly in line for a lucrative TV role
The offseason decision regarding Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's future, as he contemplates a 14th season, continues to dominate headlines.
According to a new report by The Athletic, Kelce is a top candidate for a career in broadcasting, where he could earn $15 million as a studio presence for a potential network. Prime Video is reportedly one of the networks pushing to have Kelce join the broadcast booth for their weekly games.
Kelce is third all-time behind Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten and 2,126 yards behind Gonzalez for the most for a tight end in league history, with only 45 behind Witten in second place. The multiple-time Super Bowl champion has hosted television shows, co-starred in movies, and co-created the hit podcast 'New Heights' with brother Jason.

In 2024, Kelce served as the host of "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?," a 20-episode spin-off of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" that also streamed on Prime Video. The Chiefs are working hard negotiating with Kelce while remaining patient foe his decision.
Kelce finished last season with 78 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns. He earned his 11th Pro Bowl selection, proving he's still a top player at his position.
