PHOENIX — In a strategic move to enhance their roster depth, the Arizona Diamondbacks have traded right-handed reliever Taylor Rashi to the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations. This transaction was reported by Arizona Central's Nick Piecoro on Monday, following Rashi's designation for assignment last week.

Rashi, who made his major league debut in August, contributed to the Diamondbacks' bullpen during a challenging time when injuries plagued the team. Although he did not rank among the organization’s elite prospects, he served as a reliable option, becoming one of 17 relievers to earn a save for Arizona in 2025.

Despite a struggle to secure a spot on the 2026 roster due to inconsistent performance, Rashi ends his stint with the Diamondbacks holding a 5.40 ERA across 20.0 innings pitched and a 1.40 WHIP. However, his numbers at Triple-A Reno reflect a more promising future, showcasing a 1.03 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP over 26.1 innings.
