Falcons select OT Ethan Onianwa in seventh round of 2026 NFL Draft
The Atlanta Falcons have selected Ohio State offensive lineman Nolan Onianwa in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Onianwa was the team's sixth and final pick, capping off Ian Cunningham's first draft class as general manager.
The 6-foot-7 former Buckeye played sparingly at both guard spots in 2025, but he started at left tackle in 2024. Onianwa will have an uphill battle to make the Falcons' 53-man roster, but his size and upside were worth a flier here in the seventh round.
Falcons right tackle Kaleb McGary retired last month, and the team signed Jawaan Taylor as a free agent replacement. Onianwa will need to improve as a pass blocker to make it at the NFL level.
