Ferrari Superfan Builds an F1-Style Mobility Scooter For The British Grand Prix

Among the 500,000 people who passed through Silverstone’s gates during the 2026 British Grand Prix weekend, Simon may have shown up with the most elaborate tribute to Ferrari in the entire crowd. His mobility scooter – completely rebuilt to resemble a Scuderia FerrariFormula 1car – drew attention throughout the fan zone, and a short clip capturing it has since racked up over 190,000 views on TikTok. The on-screen text reads: “Simon designed this mobility scooter and would love for the Ferrari team to see it .”

The build is genuinely impressive. The chassis is finished in Ferrari’s signature rosso corsa red, with black bodywork sections standing in for carbon fiber aerodynamics. There’s a full front wing assembly just ahead of the wheels – black main plane, white endplates – styled closely after the geometry of a current F1 car. Flared sidepod-style panels run down either side of the floorboard. The original tiller is completely gone, replaced with a rectangular F1-style steering yoke complete with buttons, dials, and what appears to be a small integrated display. A large Ferrari flag – the yellow shield, the black Prancing Horse – flies from a tall pole mounted at the rear.

The Livery Tells the Full Story

Where Simon’s build really goes the extra mile is the sponsor placement. The mobility scooter features the SF-26’s 2026 color scheme, adorned with Shell V-Power branding on the front wing endplates and lower chassis, CEVA Logistics signage across the side panels, and Ray-Ban, AWS, and Richard Mille logos running along the flanks. ZCG, IBM, and ZYN appear on the upper body, just below the steering column. The Ferrari shield sits on the front nose. The attention to placement – not just slapping logos on randomly – is what separates this from a paint job.

Simon himself is fully committed to the bit. He’s dressed in a red Ferrari cap and matching Ferrari t-shirt, using a red walking cane to get around, with a lanyard around his neck and a leather crossbody bag. Midway through the clip, he turns to the camera and waves, the Silverstone fan zone buzzing behind him, a large M&S-branded stage visible in the background.

Whether the Ferrari team ever actually sees the video is a different question – though at 25,000 likes, they’d have to be actively avoiding TikTok to miss it.
