Houston Texans Strengthen Offensive Line with Derrick Graham Signing

The Houston Texans are set to bolster their offensive line by bringing in Derrick Graham, a former Tulane standout, just ahead of Tuesday's practice session. According to KRPC2 Sports' Aaron Wilson, Graham’s impressive workout on Monday led to his signing with the team.

Primarily known as a left tackle, Graham has a history with Texans offensive line coach Cole Popovich, having played under him during his time at Troy University. After transferring to Texas A&M, he concluded his college career with Tulane, where he was coached by Jon Sumrall during a successful season that culminated in a College Football Playoff appearance.

Graham made a name for himself early on, securing the starting right tackle position at Troy as a true freshman, where he was credited with allowing just two sacks across 432 pass-blocking opportunities, according to Pro Football Focus. He continued to showcase his talents with Tulane, starting every game last season.

With Graham's addition, he is expected to fill the roster spot left vacant by Sidy Sow, who was waived on Monday after the conclusion of the first week of organized team activities (OTAs).
