Jalen Duren injures ankle in Game 6 of Pistons vs Cavs

The Detroit Pistons suffered a potential injury blow midway through Game 6 when Jalen Duren rolled his ankle during the third quarter of an elimination game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Arena.

Duren exited at the 6:11 mark on Friday, May 15, with the Pistons up 68-57, after crumpling to the floor when his left ankle rolled as he moved toward the hoop after setting a screen.

He went to bench, then the tunnel and was seen retying his left shoe. Paul Reed, who saw first-half action for the first time in these playoffs, replaced Duren in the lineup.

The Cavs scored the next four points with Duren out, with the Pistons taking a timeout.

At the time of the injury, Duren was having a nice game with nine points, seven rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 20 minutes at the time of the injury.
