Lafayette area boys volleyball sectional pairings and results

McCutcheon hosts the boys volleyball sectional tournament this week.

Zionsville is the defending sectional champion, winning the tournament last year in the first season boys volleyball was sanctioned by the IHSAA.

The winner will advance to the May 23 Peru Regional.

Harrison is 7-1 against the field this season, falling to Zionsville 25-21, 20-25, 15-13 in a best-of-three match last Saturday. McCutcheon is 6-1 against sectional foes, losing a four-set match to Harrison in the regular season on April 21.

Match 1 - Harrison (23-6) vs. Lafayette Jeff (14-11), 6 p.m.

Wednesday, May 13

Match 2 - Crawfordsville (3-18) vs. Tri-West (9-14), 5:30 p.m.

Match 3 - McCutcheon (15-5) vs. North Putnam (4-10), 7 p.m.

Thursday, May 14

Match 4 - Traders Point (2-12) vs. Lebanon (9-9), 5:30 p.m.

Match 5 - Zionsville (19-12) vs. Match 1 winner, 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 16

Match 6 - Match 2 winner vs. Match 3 winner, 11 a.m.

Match 7 - Match 4 winner vs. Match 5 winner, 12:30 p.m.

Match 8 - Championship, 6 p.m.
