Louisville football lands commit from 3-star DL Jesiah Fields
Defensive lineman Jesiah Fields has committed to Louisville football.
The 6-foot-3.5, 250-pound Fields is a three-star recruit from Corvian Community High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he's the No. 19 player in North Carolina and No. 71 at his position nationally.
The defensive lineman announced his commitment on social media Monday, May 18.

Fields also held offers from over 25 over schools including South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Auburn, Rutgers, Miami, Michigan State, Texas, Maryland, Indiana and more.
He ultimately chose Louisville over Rutgers, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Maryland.
Fields becomes the 14th commit of Louisville's 2027 class and the fourth at his position, joining Sebastian Blue, Cornelius Tims III and Kaleb Exume. The Cardinals' class currently ranks 14th nationally and second in the ACC.
