Multiple Drivers Celebrate Second Wins at Jennerstown Speedway

JENNERSTOWN — This past Saturday, May 30, marked an exciting evening at Jennerstown Speedway as five drivers in the weekly racing series secured their second victories of the season. Among them, Aaron Van Fleet made a strong impression in his season debut by clinching the 20-lap One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stock feature after seizing the lead just three laps in and maintaining it throughout the race.

Will Hemminger from Stoystown challenged Van Fleet as the race neared its conclusion but ultimately fell short, finishing in second place, while Somerset’s Josh Dunmyer rounded out the top three.

In the Ron's Collision Center Street Stock feature, Rick Meehleib, also from Stoystown, took an early lead and cruised to his second victory of the season. Although Casey Fleegle from Friedens made a valiant effort to catch Meehleib, he could not threaten the leader's position, securing second place, with Scott Mitchell from Somerset finishing third.

Seth Nedrow of Stahlstown triumphed in the Somerset Trust Fast & Furious 4s, successfully maintaining his lead after a caution two laps into the race, despite pressure from Cameron Ruggles. Additionally, Joe Maruca celebrated his second win in the Martella's Pharmacies Late Model Division, taking the lead from Garry Wiltrout mid-race and holding on despite a late caution that bunched the field.

Mike Bakalon continued his success in the Crown Vic Northeast Series, advancing quickly to the front to win, while John Fama, the reigning champion of the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modified Division, captured his second victory of the year by overtaking Tom Golik with nine laps remaining. Rounding out the winners was Brian Ready, who maneuvered through the field to secure his second win in the Integrity Coatings Charger feature.

Jennerstown Speedway will host its next racing event on Saturday, June 6, featuring six divisions of action. Fans can enjoy free admission with a donation at the gate.
