NFL shaken up by Buccaneers trade request, should Steelers be interested?
The NFL received a huge shakeup following a superstar defender's decision to request a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And the Pittsburgh Steelers would be wise to pay close attention.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Buccaneers Pro Bowl defensive lineman Vita Vea has requested a trade out of Tampa Bay following failed contract negotiations. And considering the fact that the Steelers have prioritized upgrading their defensive line in recent offseasons, a trade for Vea could finally complete the process.

Vea, who was drafted by the Buccaneers in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, has spent the past eight seasons in Tampa Bay, recording 35 sacks and 256 combined tackles while cementing his place as one of the league's best run defenders.
A two-time Pro Bowler whose versatility allows him to impact the game as a nose tackle and defensive tackle, Vea could be the final piece of an otherwise Super Bowl-ready roster in Pittsburgh.
