Nong-O Hama and Aslamjon Ortikov Heat Up Preparations for The Inner Circle 20
This week, fans and media got an inside look at the training regimens of two top Muay Thai fighters ahead of their highly anticipated matches at The Inner Circle 20. Both athletes hosted open workout sessions at their respective gyms, showcasing their preparation for the event set to take place on June 26 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
On Tuesday, June 16, the legendary Nong-O Hama held his session at Superbon Training Camp. At 39, the veteran fighter continues to impress, boasting a remarkable record of 267 wins against 59 losses. He is celebrated as one of the greatest in the sport, having claimed the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship in February 2019 and successfully defending it seven times. In his upcoming bout, he will face fellow Thai fighter Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in a decisive trilogy matchup, with both fighters having one victory each in their previous encounters.
Just a day later, Aslamjon Ortikov, a promising 23-year-old competitor from Uzbekistan, trained at TC Muay Thai School. With an undefeated record of 24-0, including 10 victories in ONE Championship, Ortikov has quickly made a name for himself in the flyweight division. After impressing audiences during the ONE Friday Fights series, he earned a shot at the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title against the unbeaten Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev. A win at The Inner Circle 20 would mark a historic achievement for Ortikov as he aims to become Uzbekistan’s first ONE Muay Thai World Champion.
As both fighters finalize their training, excitement builds for their matches next week, promising intense action and unforgettable moments for fans.
