North Augusta baseball, softball dominate opponents at Jacket Park in postseason play

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WJBF)- It was a busy night at Jacket Park, as both North Augusta softball and baseball teams were in action hosting their respective opponents in the playoffs.

In softball, the Lady Jackets were already up 4-0 over Hartsville. Jackets extended their lead with a Carley Penvose two-run home run in left field to make it 6-0.
Harvard commit Eleanor Brummond had another dominant outing on the mound, with six shoutout innings, they get the 10-0 win, they’ll be back in action on Monday.

Now over to baseball, an all CSRA re-match between Aiken and North Augusta.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Jackets are up 2-0 when Evan Bates gets base hit up the middle. Dylan Morrison comes in to score to make it 3-0.

Bases are loaded for Collin Neal, and he delivers with a 2 run RBI single into left field.
