Raiders TE Brock Bowers No. 3 in AP preseason TE rankings for 2026

Brock Bowers? Trey McBride? Who is the best tight end in the NFL? Determinations have been made regularly this offseason, and the Las Vegas Raiders’ star TE Bowers has routinely seen his name appraised as being an upper crust player at the position.

The Associated Press ranked Bowers No. 3 overall in their preseason tight end rankings this year.

“After a sensational All-Pro rookie season, Bowers was plagued by injuries last year. He caught 64 passes for 680 yards and seven TDs in 12 games and made his second Pro Bowl. …Bowers gained 296 yards after the catch, and had three drops. A dynamic receiver, Bowers is still a work in progress as a blocker.”

Bowers went for 680 receiving yards across 12 games played in 2025. Though he was not as healthy or prolific as he was during his stellar rookie season in 2024 where he registered 1,194 receiving yards, he did serve as the Raiders’ primary target in the passing game and dazzled with difficult catches throughout the year. He has the pass-catching talent to be considered among the best at the position, if not the best, as he was in his All Pro rookie season.
