Ranking quarterbacks Eagles will face during the 2026 regular season

The Eagles once again enter the season as one of the NFL's premier franchises after reaching the postseason in five consecutive seasons, making two Super Bowl appearances, and adding another Lombardi Trophy to the trophy case. Philadelphia's path back toward championship contention won't be easy, however.

The 2026 schedule features elite quarterbacks, ascending stars, divisional rivals, and veteran passers capable of changing games with one throw. Vic Fangio's defense will again face enormous pressure against some of the NFL's best signal callers.

Here's a ranking of every projected starting quarterback Philadelphia is expected to face in 2026.

1. Matthew Stafford-- Week 4: vs. Rams

The reigning AP NFL MVP, Stafford is still elite and coming off a season in which he logged 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns to just 8 interceptions, while leading the Rams to a 12-5 regular season record.

2. Sam Darnold -- Week 15 vs. Seahawks

Once considered a first-round bust, Darnold has logged back-to-back Pro Bowl berths and led Seattle to the Super Bowl in 2025. Last season, Darnold, who earned a 79.3 overall PFF grade in the 2025 season, was 10th among 43 qualified quarterbacks. His PFF passing grade of 80.2 ranked 8th among quarterbacks after he threw for 4,048 yards and 25 touchdowns against 14 interceptions.

3.Dak Prescott -- Week 7 vs. Cowboys; Week 12 at Cowboys

Prescott put up MVP numbers for the 7-9-1 Cowboys last season. Prescott, who made his fourth Pro Bowl team, completed 67% of his passes for 4,552 yards with 30 touchdowns and 10 picks.

4. Caleb Williams-- Week 3 at Bears

The former Heisman Trophy winner found his stride playing under head coach Ben Johnson in Chicago. Williams earned a 75.4 overall PFF grade in 2025, 16th best among 43 qualified quarterbacks. His PFF passing grade of 71.1 ranked 19th at the position, as he threw for 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns against 7 interceptions. A true dual-threat, Williams rushed for 363 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns, earning a 79.5 rushing grade (6th among 30 qualified quarterbacks).

5. Trevor Lawrence-- Week 5 at Jaguars (in London)

Another player who benefited from a solid first year as a head coach, Lawrence and the Jaguars won their final eight regular-season games, going into the playoffs after a 5-4 start. During that eight-game stretch, Lawrene completed 62.7% of his passes for 2,009 yards with 19 touchdowns and 5 picks. Overall, Lawrence earned an 84.7 overall PFF grade in 2025, seventh among 43 qualified quarterbacks. His PFF passing grade of 81.5 ranked 7th among quarterbacks, as Lawrence threw for 4,007 yards and 29 touchdowns against 12 interceptions.

6. Jayden Daniels --Week 1 vs. Commanders; Week 8 at Commanders

A player looking to bounce back from a down year, Daniels could have been No. 2 on this list following his NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year performance in 2024. In 2025, Daniels was limited to just seven games after completing 69% of his passes for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns, and running for 891 yards as a rookie.

7. Daniel Jones -- Week 14 vs. Colts

The former Giants top pick redeemed his career last season with the Colts, going 8-5 and completing 68% of his passes with 19 touchdowns and 8 interceptions with a 100.2 passer rating. A healthy Jones could allow Indianapolis to push for a playoff spot.

8. C.J. Stroud-- Week 16 vs. Texans

Stroud should be top three on his list, and after cutting off his locks, he'll look to regain his swagger from years prior. The former Ohio State star passer has the NFL's top defense and could earn a No. 1 seed if he can improve on his 72.9 overall PFF grade in the 2025 season, which ranked 21st among 43 qualified quarterbacks. His PFF passing grade of 70.0 ranked 21st at the position, as he threw for 3,041 yards and 19 touchdowns against 8 interceptions.

 9. Brock Purdy-- Week 17 at 49ers

A player who makes more than Jalen Hurts ($53 million a year), Purdy is coming off an injury-plagued year where he completed 70% of his passes for 1,581 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions as the 49ers went 6-1 down the stretch before beating the Eagles in the wild-card round.

10. Aaron Rodgers-- Week 11 vs. Steelers

The 42-year-old Rodgers is back for year two in Pittsburgh and preparing to play his final NFL season. That means high-quality and efficient football. Last season completed 65.7% of his passes for 3,322 yards with 24 touchdowns and 7 picks.

11. Bryce Young -- Week 6 vs. Panthers

The former No. 2 overall pick found his groove under head coach Dave Canales and went 8-8 while leading Carolina back to the playoffs in 2025. Young completed 63.6% of his passes for 3,011 yards with 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

12. Cam Ward -- Week 2 at Titans

The 2025 No. 1 overall pick from Miami has an improved roster (including Carnell Tate), a better coaching staff, and Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator. Ward will look to improve after he earned a 58.4 overall PFF grade in the 2025 season, 39th among 43 qualified quarterbacks. His PFF passing grade of 56.4 ranked 39th among quarterbacks while throwing for 3,169 yards and 15 touchdowns against 7 interceptions.

13.Jaxson Dart -- Week 9 vs. Giants; Week 18 at Giants

Dart was solid as a rookie, impressing Vic Fangio in a win over the Eagles. He'll need to play a safer brand of football, but Dart is legit. As a rookie, Dart was limited to 12 games (4-8), throwing for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground.

14. Jacoby Brissett -- Week 13 at Cardinals

The 33-year-old Brissett will lead the Cardinals and work to hold off former Miami quarterback and mid-round pick, Carson Beck. Last year, Brissett started 12 games for Arizona and went 1-11.
