Softball playoff matchups set for Oshkosh, Fond du Lac teams

The postseason for high school softball has arrived.

Regional play for divisions 2-5 gets underway on Thursday, May 21, while Division 1 will start on Tuesday, May 26. That will be followed up by sectionals which start on Tuesday, June 2.

The state tournament will take place at Goodman Diamond in Madison from June 10-13.

Here’s a look at each first round matchup for Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area high schools.

Division 1

• Sectional 4: No. 13 Appleton West at No. 4 Waupun (Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 4: No. 12 Sheboygan North at No. 5 Oshkosh West (Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 4: No. 10 West Bend West at No. 7 Fond du Lac (Tuesday, May 26)

Division 2

• Sectional 2: No. 5 Two Rivers at No. 4 Campbellsport (5 p.m., Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 2: No. 6 Winneconne at No. 3 Plymouth (4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 2: No. 9 North Fond du Lac at No. 8 Little Chute (4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21)

Division 3

• Sectional 4: No. 9 Cedar Grove-Belgium at No. 8 Berlin (5 p.m., Thursday, May 21)
• Sectional 4: No. 1 Lomira vs. winner of No. 9 Cedar Grove-Belgium at No. 8 Berlin (Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 4: No. 10 Mayville at No. 7 Oostburg (5 p.m., Thursday, May 21)
• Sectional 4: No. 2 Laconia vs. winner of No. 10 Mayville at No. 7 Oostburg (Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 4: No. 6 Omro at No. 3 Ripon (5 p.m., Tuesday, May 26)
• Sectional 4: No. 5 Howards Grove at No. 4 Winnebago Lutheran (5 p.m., Tuesday, May 26)

Division 4
