UFC Oklahoma Highlights! Felipe Franco Ends UFC Newbie With Violent TKO
Felipe Franco looked like an absolute killer earlier tonight (Sat., July 18, 2026) at UFC Oklahoma LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, stopping fellow light heavyweight
Levi Rodrigues Jr. with a violent second-round TKO (punches and elbows).
This was one of the more interesting fights on the undercard because fight fans really didn’t know what to expect. Rodrigues certainly acted and looked like the more confident fighter during fight week, but Franco is an absolute specimen for the 205-pound division. Oddsmakers had this matchup pretty much even so it was anyone’s fight to steal.
Both light heavyweights found success early on in the first round as they traded blows on the feet. Franco was eventually able to work in his wrestling and gained some valuable control time on the mat. He was able to transition into full mount with about 30 seconds left in the round and started to break through Rodrigues’ defense.
The second round saw Franco land some nice shots on the feet that wobbled Rodrigues. This allowed Franco to score another takedown along the cage. Franco quickly worked into full mount and postured up to land heavy elbows and punches. Rodrigues somehow didn’t go out as Franco continued to rack up points. The referee eventually saw enough and stepped in for the stoppage.
