The World Cup final is set and it will be Spain seeking its second title going up against reigning champion Argentina, who will be looking to add a fourth star to their jerseys.

As we’ve seen throughout the tournament, there will be a high demand for tickets to Sunday’s final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Argentina could be the first back-to-back champions since Brazil in 1958 and 1962, and the match could be the final time we see Lionel Messi play in a World Cup.

If you want a seat for the Argentina-Spain final be prepared to pay up, according to Gametime.

Get-in: $7,399
Median: $11,571
Average: $14,843

How do those prices compare to other big events?

Per Gametime, Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers in 2024 saw a $7,771 get-in price and a $9,075 median price for a ticket. The first two New York Knicks home games during last month’s NBA Finals featured a get-in price of $8,601 for Game 3 and $12,741 for Game 4.

The average sale price for the 2026 World Cup final is $9,521. The Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl saw an average sale price of $9,438.

Sunday's final will mark the first meeting of Argentina and Spain in a World Cup since 1966, which saw Argentina prevail 2-1.
