World Cup final yet to sell out, tickets still available on FIFA website at eye-watering price

The World Cup final is one of the biggest fixtures in the sporting calendar; however, FIFA are still yet to sell out the event.

With less than one week to go until the 2026 final in New York, tickets remain available to purchase on FIFA’s official website.

The final will be contested between France or Spain and England or Argentina, with the semi-finals taking place this week.

The MetLife Stadium still has seats available for the ultimate showpiece of sport, with tickets being sold for eye-watering amounts.

Tickets for the World Cup Final are still available on the official FIFA website for between just $10,990 and $32,970, reports Kieran Maguire.

It remains unknown which teams will contest the final in New York, but even so, fans are not jumping at the chance to secure a seat.

$10,990, being the cheapest seat available, could well be a key factor as to why tickets remain unsold for now.

On Wednesday, we will learn which two teams will take to the field at the MetLife Stadium for the final.

Lionel Messi will be bidding to win back-to-back World Cup titles; meanwhile, Jude Bellingham will be eager to give England their first shot at World Cup glory since 1966.

The winner will face either France or Spain, with the two highest-ranked FIFA nations going head-to-head on Tuesday.

But with this being one of the biggest events in sport, it is quite crazy to think that the World Cup final still has seats available in the week leading up to the showpiece event.
