Arizona Volleyball Welcomes 2028 Commitment Nikolina Djordjevich

In a notable move for the Arizona volleyball program, the Wildcats have secured a commitment from Nikolina Djordjevich, an outside hitter from Mesa, Arizona. The announcement came shortly after college coaches were allowed to reach out to players from the class of 2028, with Djordjevich making her decision public on Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-1 athlete, who plays for Mountain View High School and Arizona Storm VBC, expressed her excitement about staying close to home. "I am so grateful to get to stay home and honored to be a part of such an amazing program and can’t wait for what lies ahead," she shared in a post on Instagram.

Djordjevich hails from a family deeply rooted in volleyball, with both her and her twin sister, Andjelina, following in their older sister's footsteps in the sport. Together, they compete for Mountain View, contributing to a legacy of athletic talent.

During her sophomore year at Mountain View, Djordjevich showcased her skills on the varsity team, averaging 3.0 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .209 over 82 sets. She also made her mark in serving, averaging 0.3 aces per set and contributing defensively with 1.7 digs per set.

Ranked as the No. 31 player in Arizona by Prep Dig and a three-star recruit according to PrepVolleyball, Djordjevich has garnered attention for her potential. Evaluators noted her impressive size and ability to make contact at the peak of her jump, highlighting her promising future in the sport.

As she prepares to join the Wildcats for the 2028 season, Djordjevich will be stepping into a program poised for continued success, especially following the graduation of standout player Carlie Cisneros. Her journey and highlights can be explored on her HUDL profile.
