AWSN TV to Broadcast 3XBA's Exciting 3-on-3 Tournament in Spokane on June 26-27

The All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) has partnered with the 3x3 Basketball Association (3XBA) to provide live television coverage of the highly anticipated 3XBA 3-on-3 tournament taking place on June 26 and 27 in Spokane, Washington. Coverage will kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT on June 26 and resume at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT on June 27.

This year's tournament promises to be historic, as it will feature the largest prize pool ever offered at a FIBA-sanctioned women’s 3x3 event. A total of eight teams and 32 players, including 20 former WNBA athletes, will compete at Spokane Hoopfest, the largest outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament globally, attracting over 250,000 fans annually.

George Chung, CEO of AWSN, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The first year of our partnership with 3XBA proved the power of combining elite competition with global distribution. As we enter year two, we are excited to build on that momentum and bring the tournament to the largest audience in 3XBA history through AWSN’s rapidly expanding worldwide footprint.”

3XBA CEO Alanna McDonald also shared her excitement, noting that “this year’s field of players is our most competitive yet, bringing together elite 3x3 players, national team athletes, and the next wave of stars to battle for record prize money and critical world-ranking points.”

Among the notable athletes set to participate are Cierra Burdick, a 2024 Olympic Bronze Medalist, WNBA draftees Tonie Morgan and Jordan Hobbs, and former WNBA players Madison Scott, Dara Mabrey, and Destiny Slocum. Additionally, USC player Talia von Oelhoffen will be making her tournament debut.

Teams will consist of four players each, with three on the court at any given time and one substitute. This structure allows for frequent rotations, keeping the game dynamic and fast-paced. Participation in 3XBA tournaments helps players earn FIBA ranking points, which are essential for qualifying for their national teams in international 3x3 competitions.
